The Spark In The Void is where I write about truth, illusion, and what it means to live authentically in a world that often feels scripted.
For much of my life, I felt a tension I couldn’t ignore – a sense that the world presented to me was not the whole story. The rules we’re told to follow, the roles we’re expected to play, the constant noise of performance and distraction… none of it ever quite fit. Beneath it all was a restlessness, a question that refused to leave me alone: is this really all there is?
This blog is part of my attempt to answer that question.
Here you’ll find essays that weave together philosophy, critique, and the deeper currents of awakening. Some posts examine the structures of modern society and the subtle ways culture shapes our thought, feeling, and behaviour. Others lean into the personal: reflections on my own journey through confusion, collapse, and renewal.
I don’t claim to have final answers. What I do know is that honesty, even when it’s uncomfortable, is the only way forward. Writing here is my way of holding a light to the shadows: my own, and those cast by the systems we live in.
The Spark In The Void is for anyone who has ever felt that same unease with the surface of things. It’s for seekers who sense there’s something more real behind the masks, for readers who prefer difficult questions over easy slogans, and for anyone who values truth over appearances.
I write because I believe that spark – fragile, stubborn, impossible to extinguish, is alive in all of us. And if we follow it, even through the void, it can lead us somewhere true.
